Vintage (c1950’s) Nove / Nova Rose Italy Art Pottery Hand Painted Chop Plate /Platter; Marked For Authenticity. Gorgeous scalloped / fluted 8 sided platter with raised (3D) fruits, leaves, stems, and a bow. There are apples, bananas and grapes… possibly a peach? Very detailed and glossy. Measures 12” in diameter and stands approximately 1” tall. Heavy and high quality. Marked both “Italy” and what looks like “22/151 3.” Excellent, excellent condition; I believe this was always a protected display piece. There is one tiny place on the underside of the rim where the paint flecked off as pictured in the last photograph. Not visible from the top whatsoever.
